You wanted to save Shopify liquid file and all of a sudden you are getting “An error prevented any liquid file from being saved”. Even if you add a single space character, this error occurs shows up. You would have searched online and found out that people were experiencing the similar issue. They reported that after some time, the issue would have been resolved on its own. If you are under tight deadline and want to resolve it quickly, here is a trick.
Trick # 1 : Close Browser
If you have already made some changes in any file, you may want to save those changes manually on your computer. Notepad or any of your favorite code or text editor would work.
Close the browser.
Open the browser.
Now login again and try to make the change and see if it resolves.
If this trick does not resolve your issue, try to delete all cookies and browser data or cache.
Now close and re-open the browser. Hopefully your issue is resolved.
Trick # 2: Contact Chat Support
If the trick # 1 does not solve your issue, contact Chat support and they will “flush front end cache”. Once done, you need to close the browser, login again and try to change and save the liquid file.
